Why participate?
Our area has many organizations doing important work: fire safety, community events, local history, neighborhood updates, public meetings, and more. Valley Connect helps those groups reach more people — and it helps people stay more informed.
The goal is simple: fewer missed announcements, fewer duplicate efforts, and a better-informed valley.
What we can do together
Share announcements
When you send announcements to your members, OVPOA and other organizations can easily choose to pass them on to theirs.
Help build one community calendar
When your announcements describe an event, they're automatically added to the one combined event calendar — which community members can view or subscribe to, or that you can include on your own website.
Stay in control
Each organization keeps its own identity, its own judgment, and its own approval process. We can extend it here by letting you assign gatekeepers and creators.
Cross-promote communications
We make it easier for community members to find organizations through our consolidated and promoted subscription management.
Make communication easier
The system handles the routine details so local volunteers can spend less time managing lists and more time serving the community.
